Welcome to Article Magazine — brutally honest, personality-packed product reviews that help you buy smarter (and laugh a little while doing it).
We’re 100 % independent, reader-supported, and obsessive about keeping it real. To keep the lights on and the reviews flowing, we make money in a few transparent ways — and we’ll never hide how.
1. Affiliate Links (Yes, We Use Them)
Article Magazine is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and several other affiliate programs. When you click one of our links and buy something (usually within 24 hours), we may earn a small commission — at zero extra cost to you.
We only ever link to products we’ve actually researched, tested, or would happily buy ourselves. If something is trash, we’ll say it’s trash — even if it pays us (and yes, we’ve turned down plenty of lucrative garbage).
2. Display Ads & Advertising Partners
We show ads through trusted partners (currently Monumetric, Raptive, Ezoic, and/or Google AdSense). We reserve the right to:
- Reject, cancel, or remove any ad at any time for any reason
- Decide where ads appear on the site
- Refuse ads that are misleading, offensive, low-quality, or just plain sketchy
- Ban ads for illegal, harmful, or deceptive products/services
Any ad that could be mistaken for editorial content will be clearly labelled “Advertisement” or “Sponsored”.
3. Sponsored or Branded Content (Rare, But It Happens)
Occasionally we may publish sponsored posts or partner with a brand we genuinely rate. When we do:
- It will be labelled “Sponsored”, “Paid Post”, or “Brand Partner” at the very top
- Our editorial team still reviews and edits it
- We only work with products we’d actually recommend to a friend
- The final opinion is always ours — money doesn’t buy a glowing review here
4. Editorial Independence (The Bit We’re Proudest Of)
No advertiser, sponsor, or affiliate partner has ever — and will never — influence our rankings, ratings, or what we say. If we call something the “best”, it’s because we believe it, not because someone paid us to say it.
